This Swedish mid-century rocking chair was designed by Karl Axel Adolfsson and produced by Gemla in the 1950s. The tall spindle back, sculpted arms and elegantly curved rockers reflect the understated craftsmanship of Scandinavian modern design. The frame has been repolished in a deep black lacquer, with minor signs of wear retained to preserve its vintage character. The seat has been newly upholstered in 100% pure wool in a bold mustard yellow, adding warmth and contrast to the sleek frame.
