Early ‘Maclamp’ Floor Lamp by Conran for Habitat

An exceptional early example of the MacLamp BL Spot 1/2 twin spotlight floor lamp, designed for Habitat by Sir Terence Conran in the late 1960s.
This WL1 base-stamped lamp is an early production variant, featuring two adjustable brushed aluminium spot heads, plastic fittings and the original switch block, standing on a cast iron base. Unlike most surviving examples, this piece has been professionally rewired to modern electrical standards, making it both beautiful and practical for contemporary interiors.
The lamp is in excellent vintage condition, with only minor sympathetic marks and signs of age. Fully functional and ready to use. However, as will all used electrical items, we recommend you get it checked by a qualified electrician before using it in your home.
May arrive in parts for reassembly at home to save postage costs.
