A very rare and beautiful early G Plan table in Tola and Black. These tables are getting harder to find and represent the early move towards the danish style by the G Plan/E. Gomme designers. Produced in the late 1950s the design still looks stunning today. Table top is Tola veneer raised on a black finished solid wood with adjustable brass feet. Stamped underneath with the original Gold E.G G Plan label.
Given the rarity of this piece we have opted to preserve rather than restore. So the table top has been refinished but still retains a few of the marks which represent over 60 years of use and thousands of dinners enjoyed sat around it. Please see the photos for more detail.
