Product condition and specification

The items we sell are vintage and pre-used or pre-owned. The majority of our pieces are professionally restored or upholstered but are likely to retain evidence of wear and tear. We do our best to describe their condition and provide photographs, however, if you require further clarification please contact us before purchasing. We are very happy to answer any questions you may have so you can make an informed decision before committing to buy.

Electrical items will be checked by us prior to being sent out, but they do not come with guarantees or certificates and we cannot guarantee they pass current regulations. If you are unsure you should have the item checked by a professional before you use it. We cannot be held responsible for accidents or injury caused by products purchased from us.

As our soft furnishings are used and in some cases very old, we cannot guarantee they meet current fire regulations. You should satisfy yourself with having non compliant furniture in your home before making a purchase. If we have reupholstered an item we will state if it meets current fire regulations.

We provide dimensions for all of our products, but we cannot guarantee exact accuracy. If you need additional measurements, please contact us and we will try and provide more detailed information.

We cannot be held responsible if an item is too big for your access or does not fit in its intended space. We strongly recommend that you check access to all areas before making a purchase.

Please note: Items cannot be returned because they are the wrong size or do not fit in the intended space.

Pricing

All prices displayed on the website are in pound sterling (£) and do not include delivery. Please see individual items for delivery costs and check our Delivery Information page.

Payments

We accept credit/debit card payments for purchasing through our website. We also accept Bank Transfer/BACS or cash on collection for local pick up. Please contact us prior to purchasing if you wish to arrange bank transfer or pay cash.

– We don’t and won’t ever sell your email address to ANY third parties.
– Your email address will only be used by Casta Blue for the purposes outlined above (unless we are required by law to provide it).

Please note: it may take up to three weeks to remove your email from marketing communications as they may be scheduled in advance.
