A striking 1970s British-made Maclamp floor lamp, featuring two independently adjustable gold-finish spotlights mounted on a slender black stem and circular base.
Originally manufactured for Habitat, Maclamp this lamp is a distinctive example of British design from the period, combining clean, functional lines with a bold, architectural aesthetic.
This example is in very good vintage condition, retaining its original fittings, adjustment clamps, cable clips and importantly it’s black plastic base cover. Both spotlights retain their original Maclamp manufacturer’s labels.
The original gold finish presents beautifully, with only very minor signs of age and use. There are a few small marks to the black stem and some light surface scratches to the base cover.
The lamp has been carefully cleaned and rewired. It has also been safety tested.
An elegant and versatile piece of vintage lighting, equally at home in a mid-century or contemporary interior.
