A striking British twin spotlight floor lamp by Thorn, dating from around 1980.
The lamp features two independently adjustable spotlights mounted to a slender chrome upright, allowing each light to be positioned at different heights and angles. It has a wonderfully clean Space Age late-modernist appearance.
Both lights can be adjusted individually along the central stem, making it as practical as it is sculptural. The original Thorn manufacturer’s label remains inside one of the lamp heads, identifying the model as TFRN 100 and confirming manufacture in Great Britain.

The lamp is presented in very good vintage condition, with only very light age-related marks consistent with use.
It has been carefully rewired with modern electrical components while retaining the original fittings and character of the lamp. As with all vintage electrical items, we recommend inspection by a suitably competent person before first use.
