A beautifully proportioned mid-century coffee table by A.H. McIntosh & Co., Kirkcaldy, dating from the late 1960s. Crafted in solid teak with a refined open-frame design, this piece features integrated lower shelving originally designed for records and magazines, giving it both visual lightness and practical function.
The table has been carefully restored, with the top stripped and refinished in Danish oil to remove historic water and cup marks, bringing back the depth and warmth of the original grain. The frame has not been over-sanded and retains light age-related knocks, consistent with a well-kept piece of this era.
