A rare matching pair of large ‘Nanceddan’ table lamps by Peter Ellery for Tremaen Pottery, made in Newlyn, Cornwall in 1978/79.
Their sculptural forms and softly abstract cream, stone and off-white glazes give them a distinctly 1970s look that still feels very contemporary. At 45 cm high each, they have real presence and work especially well as a pair on a sideboard, console or bedside tables.
Both retain their original Tremaen Pottery, Newlyn, Cornwall labels and have been rewired, PAT tested and passed.
Excellent vintage condition with almost no age-related wear.
Rewired with modern components and electrically safety tested prior to sale.
Ceramic body height: 38 cm
