A sculptural mid-century modern coffee table designed by Vladimir Kagan and produced by Sika Møbler in Denmark during the 1960s.
The table features Kagan’s iconic interlocking “spider-leg” base, expertly crafted in solid teak with beautifully shaped curves and flowing lines. The circular glass top sits lightly above the frame, giving the design its distinctive floating appearance.
This example has undergone a very light, sympathetic refurbishment, preserving its original character while ensuring it presents cleanly and functions perfectly. The teak frame shows minor, age-appropriate signs of wear, consistent with a well-cared-for vintage piece. The glass top is in very good condition, with only faint marks visible on close inspection. The rubber glass bumpers have been replaced.
A highly collectable and instantly recognisable design, equally suited to a curated mid-century interior or as a statement piece in a contemporary space.
